excellent: Abhinav Gupta UK, UK 2010-Jul-12 Best tasting sparkling water unlike other brands which has excessively carbonated.
awful: spareine , 2009-Jul-15 zuviel kalzium
very good: Jeff Boston, MA, US 2007-Oct-19 A very good mineral water. Bubbles are larger than most sparkling mineral waters, but that's because it's force-carbonated. Elegent and suble flavors.
good: david mckinney thionville, france 2007-Oct-8 This used to be my favourite water, but is no longer naturally sparkling. Since they released Badoit Rouge (a perrier style water) the taste of the original badoit has changed (the carbonation.) This used to be a naturally sparkling water - now they take out the gas from the water and then add it back. Try Quezac instead if you can find it.
excellent: MatthewBT Brossard, Canada 2007-Jul-21 A great water. Balanced taste. I'd avoid the red bottle unless you really love bubbles, plus it tastes different. It's very pricey. 3.32$(tax in) Canadian for a liter..
excellent: Uwe Neumann Potsdam, Germany 2006-Sep-5 the best water I ever drank.
awful: Ann Mohegan Lake, NY, USA, 2004-Oct-6 I was so disappointed in this water. I’d always heard that this was the most popular water in Paris, and I looked forward to trying it. I finally found it in the New York City area; it was very expensive! And it was in a plastic bottle. It tasted awful to me, but maybe it would be better from a glass bottle. It tasted bland and soapy and a little like sulphur. It’s funny that people have different experiences with carbonation. I wonder if it has to do with the type of bottle, or the temperature, or different bottling plants. I drank mine at a very cool, but not cold, temperature, and it was just very slightly effervescent. I don’t agree that Gerolsteiner is a substitute; Gerolsteiner is one of my very favorites, and I also buy it at Trader Joe’s, where the price is quite reasonable. I like it because it has such a prominent flavor, which – to me is the total opposite of Badoit.
not so good: Myriam Schweingruber Alterswil, Switzerland 2004-Aug-9 je n'aime pas cet arrière gout de bicarbonate de sodium, peu désaltérante.
not so good: Catherine Notts, UK 2004-Jul-15 It is my chosen water when in France but I always find it has a gamey aftertaste - you can taste the salt at the back of your throat. David Hasselhoff apparently washes his famous locks in bottles of Badoit when he's in Paris.
awful: Zezva Johnse Paris, France 2004-Jun-30 Not tasty enough

excellent: timffl Hertfordshire UK, 2003-Feb-23 First Class - not too fizzy, good taste, nice price in the UK. I prefer it cool but not straight from the fridge.
excellent: vlada01 USA, 2002-Dec-31 very specific taste - refreshing, mild, and so unique.
very good: benmelyee Fremont, CA, USA, 2002-Dec-12 Drank a lot of it in Paris from plastic and glass bottle and loved it. It's not as gassy as many other brands. Tasted good at room temperature and refrigerated. It's not available in USA but I agree with others that Gerolsteiner is a great substitute. I found it at Trader Joe's.
not so good: rokinsam london, 2002-Dec-10 one of the most expensive and overated waters on the market
excellent: mdomine San Francisco, Ca, 2002-Jun-10 This is by far and away the best sparkling water in the world. The bubbles are the perfect size and the flavor is unparalleled.
excellent: Richard Marblehead USA, 2002-Mar-18 'The best! Looked forward to Badoit every year for over 15 yearly visits to France. Not available in Boston; Gerolsteiner a fair substitute. Badoit available in NYC, very expensive. Will be in St. Galmier in May.'
excellent: aarr PARIS FRANCE, 2002-Feb-6 simply the better....
not so good: Pierre Alfufeira, Portugal, 2001-Dec-26 The taste is ok, but the gas doesn't appear to be natural (too big bubbles)
excellent: white germany, 2001-Aug-30 'my favourite in france. after trying other mineral waters, i always get back to badoit. nice feature: the sticker indicating ''optimal temperature for consommation'''
excellent: adam acht Dresden; Deutschland, 2001-Aug-29 hervorragend...
excellent: sajjad norfolk, england, 2001-Aug-20 Beautiful water providing from glass bottle. Tastes awful from plastic bottles as sold in supermarkets.

excellent: Lulu Canada, 2001-May-21 Great water. Haven't been able to find it in North America. Big bubbles... How do they do that?
excellent: berryberry London, United Kingdom, 2000-Dec-21 Unique taste. Lightly gassed. Very healthy. More I drink it and more I like it. For me it's an acquired taste after 20 bottles in 20 days.
awful: Zimbo20 Lüdenscheid Germany, 2000-Dec-18 Tastes really awful!
excellent: dameson USA, 2000-Nov-5 It is my favorite in France. In the USA I choose Gerolsteiner which is similar since Badoit is not available in San Diego. ~~~Disclaimer: The opinions expressed in the above ratings are submitted by third parties and do not necessarily represent the opinion of mineralwaters.org or pmgeiser.ch |
