This rating is for the "silver" bottle which is indeed mineral water nice effervescence but there is nothing really special about this water, tastes more like a club soda or seltzer. The carbonated is lightly done so complements a meal, although I prefer still water, which in this case is not soft which I dislike but distinctive and not devoid of taste like some waters especially the mineral water that are distilled. excellent: thomas taaffe, usa 2003-Sep-23

Beautiful bottle but it tastes terrible. My husband is from the UK and says this is from Wales. It is a bubbly water though, but a very strong tasting bubbly water for those that like that. excellent: hhjo SFO, 2002-Nov-5
My wife and I really loved this brand for not only the cool bottle but the bubbles were extra fine and delicate not to mention very clean taste. Can be difficult to find. excellent: boss Hamburg, 2001-Nov-16

This tastes ok to me but is NOT mineral water.
